Parada means stop! Paradas are very important in Tango. It allows the the dancers to stop and pause to the music. Often parades can be very dramatic, fun and whimsical. In this workshop, Tony and Ilana will introduce different places to pause in the dance and explore the different possibilities it creates. Dancers will learn their way into the Argentine Tango and examine the similarities and differences to other partner dancing.
Prerequisites: No previous Tango experience required
