October 28 Jukehouse Hounds

THE JUKEHOUSE HOUNDS are music professionals that individually have played on stages of all sizes with a cross-section of hallowed names (try Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Wanda Jackson, Etta James, Bill Frisell and other greats). These guys have banded together to do it their way, the RIGHT way – always musical, always fun, always inspired, and always engaging their audience. Dancin’, laughin’, swingin’, and howlin’ good times – guaranteed.

The “Hounds” play around Seattle at the Little Red Hen, J & M Café, the Old Edison, Left Foot Boogie, and NWDance.net. They are the featured band on Friday night at Seabeck Dance Camp.  We are excited to have them back for this Spooktacular Halloween dance at the Swedish Club, where we will be welcoming the S’no Jokers ski club for the evening.  Should be a howling good time – costumes are optional.  You’ll have fun either way.

For this dance, there will be a no-host wine-and-beer bar alongside the dance floor in the Vasa Room.  This room will be set up for socializing and we will also offer a non-alcoholic Witch’s Brew.  Please bring your friends to snack on! Oops – our Halloween spirit got carried away! Bring your friends – as always singles and couples are welcome – you don’t need a partner.

Pre-dance potluck at 6;00 p.m.  We will provide the plates and flatware, you provide a potluck item to share.
