February 15: Radio Rhythm Orchestra with Pete Leinonen

It has been awhile since NW Dance Network has hosted the Radio Rhythm Orchestra, which was originally led by the late John Holte. Swing is the thing, but you can also Lindy, Foxtrot, and maybe dance some Blues to the big band sound of this orchestra. Their playlist includes the greatest arrangements from the swing era, as well as some of John Holte’s delightful original compositions.

Pre-dance lesson: 7pm to 8pm with Janice Eklund. East Coast Swing: Let’s add some Right-to-Right Combinations to your dance tool kit.

Dance: 8pm to 11pm

Cost: $15 general admission, payable by cash or check, at the door; $10 students under 23 (with ID)

Location: Leif Erikson Hall, 2245 NW 57th St, Seattle
