COVID-19 virus: NW Dance Events
NW Dance Network continues to support the efforts of our state and region’s public health and governmental professionals. We will be cancelling our activities until we get an all-clear sign from the governor and other local officials.
We have made efforts to reschedule the many bands which had been already been booked to play for us.
In addition to rescheduling dances, we are postponing all classes until further notice. We are also looking for great dance videos and funny things to post on our social media pages, so stay tuned.
We are following the COVID-19 situation daily, and we will make decisions and respond to the situation, hoping to restore our dance activities as soon as possible.
Cancelling all our dance events has impacted us greatly. Both our financial health and our social health are at risk. Please help us by:
Donating to us. Look for us on Give Big Day.
Sharing a message of support on social media.
When one arts and dance organization succeed, we all do. Simply, we are better together. If maintaining Seattle’s robust cultural landscape and our dance community is important to you, we urge you to consider the significant impact you can have by identifying one or two of your top arts and dance cultural organizations and making a gift—perhaps in the amount of what you would have spent on cancelled events. We cannot emphasize this enough.
We thank you for your support of NW Dance Network. We want you to know that the health, welfare, and happiness of our community are our top concerns. We continue to listen to our community, government, and public health officials to determine the best way to serve our dance community and keep all of us safe.
Keep safe and wash your hands!
